Focus Boardshop has been Madison's core skate shop for over 20 years, carrying the brands skaters ride: Baker, Real, Anti Hero, DGK, Creature, Welcome, Girl, Powell Peralta, and our own Focus shop decks. Our steep concave Focus shop boards have become a local favorite, available in 7.75", 8.0", 8.25", and 8.5" to fit any skating style. Every deck comes with free Jessup grip tape—just choose your board and we'll ship it ready to set up or have it waiting for you in-store. Whether you're learning your first kickflip at your local skate park, hitting rails, or skating bowls, we've got the board for your style. Shop online or stop by to see our full wall of decks and get advice from skaters who actually ride what they sell.

How to Choose a Skateboard Deck:

Width:
- 7.5"-7.75": Street skating, technical tricks, smaller riders
- 7.75"-8.25": Most versatile, great for street and park
- 8.25"-8.5"+: Transition, bowls, cruising, more stability
Shape: Popsicle (standard symmetrical) vs. shaped decks (old-school, cruiser styles)
Concave: Steep concaves provide better board feel and flick
Construction: 7-ply maple is standard, some brands offer lighter or stronger materials
