Ten years of making Onewheels, and this is the one Future Motion's founder always dreamed of building. That's not marketing — that's a quote straight from Kyle Doerksen himself. The XR Classic is the board that started a sport, rebuilt from the ground up with everything they've learned since.

The Recurve Edition takes that foundation and pushes it further off-road. Recurve Rails were developed with the Onewheel Factory Pro Team specifically to add leverage and stability on trail — more control in the rough stuff, more confidence on off-camber lines, more fun when the terrain gets rowdy.

The XR Classic Recurve brings that same soul — the full-sized stance, the familiar shape, the ride that feels like surfing on land — and pairs it with modern tech and trail-tuned geometry that makes it better in every measurable way.

The Powertrain

The XR Classic comes equipped with a powerful 75V battery and a second-generation 6" Hypercore motor, delivering increased power and torque right out of the box. Snappy acceleration across a wide powerband and a refined control system give you power, torque, and dynamic performance at all speeds — whether you're launching off a curb, grinding up a hill, or threading singletrack through the woods.

The Tire

Where the original XR featured a Vega slick go-kart tire, the XR Classic comes with an upgraded 6" Performance Treaded Tire developed in collaboration with the Factory Team. More air volume, more grip, more traction on unpaved terrain — and that flowy smoothness on pavement that makes every commute feel like a session.

The Recurve Rails

This is what sets the Recurve Edition apart. The Recurve Rail geometry was designed specifically for off-road performance — adding leverage over the board for sharper response when the terrain demands it, without giving up comfort on longer rides. If your riding takes you beyond the bike path, this is the rail you want under your feet.

The Feel

Slimmer rails and a raised axle mount lower the ride height by .25" compared to the GT — confidence-inspiring stability without sacrificing clearance. Slim Lowboy footpads drop the ride height further, with refined concave and a 24mm kick in back to keep your feet exactly where they need to be. Softened edges mean you can ride for hours without paying for it the next day. Want the classic look? African Mahogany footpads are available, made in California with a mellow kick and a low, comfortable platform.
